10:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
In this class we will cover the basics of beeswax and more. Everyone will choose a delicious background to help pop a chic silhouette. Choices of silhouette will include chandeliers, birdcages, and a few other hip and romantic selections. Then all students will learn the practice and steps of creating a perfect beeswax collage using their selected materials. Other topics taught in class will be the use of alcohol inks, distress ink, and the various practices of working with beeswax encaustic materials. All students will leave with a completed 10” X 10” inch beeswax collage on artboard. Extra classroom kits will be sold for any students that would like to create a set of three.
