There's a whole lot of shakin' going on...

Things are always shakin' around here at Mystic Paper, especially when we need to make room for new product! The last time we did some major renovating was actually last December, so it's about time to do it again isn't it? The one thing about moving almost everything in the store is the learning curve of where did we put that? But we really have to because next month is the Craft & Hobby Industry's trade show where we will be purchasing many new and exciting items.

Here's how things go when we do this. First we have to move product that we are wanting to either discontinue or put on sale, but before we do that we have to move something else. Sometimes we start at the front of the store, sometimes the middle, and sometimes the back.
The new year is coming and it's time for some changes. We wanted to open up the front of the store to add more stamps and inks for everyone. So that means moving something from the front of the store to the back. The following photos may explain the last 3 days here at Mystic Paper. Sometimes it doesn't start with much.

Then Jennifer adds some things and makes Kim do a lot of moving stuff. You know heavy lifting stuff, like furniture.

Then more and more things follow and it just kind of works.

Here's a corner that desperately needed some change.

Ahhhhh, so much better, now it's open and inviting. Oh yes, and prettier.

Some of the newly rearranged walls areas.

Now that we have almost moved everything in the store, if you can't find what you are looking for just ask us. The tricky thing will be remembering where we moved it to!

It looks fabulous! I know! I was there on Friday! If you haven't been in there yet, you must visit soon! The kitchen corner is darling and I love the aprons hung on the clothesline!! So vintage!!

One of the MOST frustrating things about moving stuff around is remembering where you put it!! LOL!!!
