How would you like to start with this...

And end up with something "like" this...

This beautiful chandelier was created in Chris Randall's "Shabby Chic Chandelier" class by Kim Caldwell.

This gorgeous chandelier was created by Rebecca Gawryl in the same class.

So, let's talk about this class! Chris is teaching it again on Saturday, October 25th. This is the challenge with this class. Everyone has a different idea about how they would like their chandelier to turn out. Color, tea cups, number of arms on the chandelier. And, we believe you should get to choose. Keeping that in mind, here is how we are orchestrating this class after our learning experience from the first class. (Insert thank you's here to Kim and Rebecca).

1. If you live in town we would prefer that you provide:
a. your own chandelier (thrift store, yard sale...)
b. your own tea cups (thrift store, yard sale...) 2 weeks prior to class so they can be drilled.
c. your own can of spray paint in your chosen color.
d. any photos or images that you may want to use in your soldered charms.

2. If you do not live in town we would prefer that you:
a. ship your cups and saucers to us so that we get them two weeks prior to class for drilling.
b. look at the pictures we'll send of the chandeliers we have and call us to let us know which
you would like. We will charge whatever the chandelier cost us (up to $25).
c. let us know ahead of time what choice of spray paint you want to use.
d. bring any photos or images that you may want to use in your soldered charms.

If you don't want to find your own cups and saucers here is what we have available for you to purchase. Cute bird cups and saucers.

Roses tea cups. These are small. Just a little larger that demitasse cups.

Here is what we will provide...

1. instruction featuring the lovely Chris Randall
2. beads
3. crystals
4. garland
5. soldering supplies

This is an all day class. It will start at 11:00 A.M. and it will end when it ends. You can pack a lunch or take a lunch break and go out.

The cost will be $20 per arm on your chandelier. Cups and saucers are additional if purchased from us. Chandelier is additional if purchased from us. Spray paint is additional if we purchase it for you.

So, there you have it! This class is complex in preparation but the outcome will be what "you" want. After all, it's going to hang in your house! Call the store if you have any questions.

This looks delicious! I need a sconce for my craft room and my husband would ring my neck BUT, I am thinking!!! I had him hang a light fixture already in there. He asked me not to be changing my mind in this house and having him move light fixtures all around. At the time I told him alright. Mystic Paper might be causing a marital problem here. Smile. I am looking at my calendar.
In the meantime, I would like to sign up for Sandy's class on the 23rd. Please let me know if there are spaces available. I tried to email but as you know I am out of town and cannot get on my computer for email---------.Yikes!!!!!!
