Literary Artification Society...

A Special Summer Social Class Series for Young Girls.
All art projects inspired by literature!

These classes will be taught by our latest teacher to join Mystic Paper, Whitney Johnson.

These are the three books that the projects are based on, that many young girls are currently reading.

This is a perfect summer activity for girls 12 years (or entering 6th grade) and older. Classes will be held on Monday afternoons, in June and July. This class is a twist on the traditional book club. Instead of reading and discussing a book, we'll read and make art inspired by the book! Each four hour session includes supplies, a treat to eat, and a goodie bag. Classes are $40 each, sign up for all 4 classes for $140.

Literary Artification Society - Reading Accessories

Monday, June 16th. 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Enjoy your summer reading more with personalized accessories. Practice basic techniques, several art styles, and try fun new products. Use your own creative flair while you make bookmarks and book covers.

Literary Artification Society - The Tail of Emily Windsnap

Monday, June 30th. 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Embellish a denim book bag with a mermaid collage and paper charms. Using paper, aluminum, ribbon, and other found stuff, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind collage window on your tote-bag. As usual, there will be a treat to eat and a goodie bag. It’s a party!

Literary Artification Society - Princess Academy Project

Monday, July 14th. 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Create a looking glass to hang in your room. You’ll use a wood base, then embellish with paint, papers, ribbon, and beautiful flowers that you make yourself. We’ll also have a treat to eat, and a goodie bag to take home. It’s a party!

Literary Artification Society - Twilight Letter Box

Monday, July 28th. 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Make a letter box to hold notes, photos, and heartfelt secrets! We will cover a cigar box with beautiful papers & embellishments. Next we will make a little letter book to hold some of the treasures you will keep in your new box.

Read the article that Whitney wrote for the June-July issue of The Country Register. Her article appears on page 10, she writes about her discovery of our little store we know and love called Mystic Paper.
