Many May Classes...
We want to thank all of you who have taken a class or two or three this month. There have been so many wonderful classes, so many great teachers and so many great projects!
Thanks to Claudine Hellmuth for coming and teaching so many of her techniques. This really was an eye opening experience for so many of our customers. Nothing like thinking outside the box! Paper was flying, paint was everywhere and IT WAS WAY TOO MUCH FUN!
Claudine was showing us some techniques from her Collage Discovery Workshop book.
If you didn't get a chance to pick up her book, we still have a few copies and some of them are even signed!
A little painting technique and matte medium transfer demo.
Collage ideas were all over the place, but most of them just happened.
Here is a finished collage. The best thing about this class was every one's collage was so different then the next. It was fun to walk around the classroom to peek at other students finished work.
On Saturday, we were lucky enough to have Jenny Hernandez (aka the Polka Dot Pixie) come and teach her Paper Clay Love Birds class.
Butterflies in May was taught by Suzette. Every one's finished book was beautiful. You can see a few more photos on Suzette's blog. As you can see, everyone had a good time in this class too. Sewing, spraying, inking, and stamping!
Here is a spooky version of Trisha's "House of Gypsy". Wish I could have made one! We look forward to Trisha teaching more of her wonderful classes at Mystic Paper.
Here is a photo from Ellen's "Everything I Ever Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten" class. There was a lot going on downstairs in the classroom that Saturday (it was a very involved class). Such a great project she came up with and we always love all of the embellishments Ellen chooses for her incredible books.
More great classes are headed our way! Keep an eye on our class page on our website. More classes will be posted as soon as I can get the camera working again. YEAH!
