They came in Limos....

They came from as far away as Japan! Here is Kyoko with her personal tour guide Lena!

And Nova Scotia, Canada

Tracey Niehues stopped by and she loved the store!

Last week Mystic Paper was hopping! We were visited by literally hundreds of wonderful ladies that were here for Creative Escape. They shopped, they shared stories about their stores at home, or lack there of. They all had a great time and truly were

enjoying themselves at Creative Escape! For more insight as to exactly how much fun Creative Escape was and some thoughts on the classes visit the blogs of Jules, Kip, and Janet. What a great group of ladies from Florida. Boy, I wish I could have been with that group. It sounds as though they had a blast!

If you're wondering how we kept track of our adventurous guests here is the wonderful guest book that Judy whipped up for us on a moments notice! Judy was literally our saving grace this week. She dropped what she was doing to come in and work since we were just a little short handed. And she taught a class this weekend that I (kj) got to take. Loved the class and thank you again Judy, so, so much!

Business Section...

of the Mesa Tribune today, (it was actually Thursday, but I accidentally posted this on Kim's blog-jw) there's an article about keeping scrapbooking alive and guess who was featured? US! The article if you would like to read it is linked below. Sidebar: I would like to point out the paragraph about our prices compared to the "M" store. In the article he does say that we sell some permanent adhesive for 20 cents less, but what he didn't say is that we also have a Bare Elements item for $1.00 less and yet another Bare Elements item for $4.50 less! So if you purchased the same three items here instead of the M store you would save $7.20. That's a huge savings. -jw

I have waited for this day for......

well, for a long time. Carlene Federer came in our store today! I check her blog all the time and have always wondered why that girl never came in. Well, it turns out she has been in before and I just didn't know it. And I gotta tell you she is just as hilarious IRL ( in real life) as she is on her blog! What a treat...made my day. Thanks Carlene!

Did you notice that I'm trying to pick up on all of this Blog lingo. I'm still trying to figure out what RGTF stands for. Carlene HELP! -kj

For the LOVE of Stickles!!!

Here are five more colors to fall in love with - Cinnamon, Cotton Candy, Burgundy, Baby Blue, and Gun Metal. They're all oh so yummy!

And finally, the tool that everyone was making themselves, Tim's Ink Blending Tool. Use this and make your Distress Inks and Alcohol Inks look so much more distressed!

ARE YOU READY 2 ROCK ?

This new line "Rock Star" from Creative Imaginations and Marah Johnson will get you rockin'

Some gorgeous double sided card stock

And Creative Imaginations' new Marquis Line swirls, crowns, and the King of Hearts, what more could you ask for!

Except for this...

And of course this,

These are the most gorgeous metal (yes, I said metal and Jennifer says heavy metal) embellishments that we have seen in a long time

O.K. we say this alot, but it's true, the pictures do not in any way do these brads justice. The velvet flowers on the right are a deep olive and brown. The metal brads on the top center are a filigreed brass and silver and the small brads are made to go in the center of the filigree brads or you can use them by themselves.

And you all must know by now how we love chipboard. And you know we love Fleur de Lis, wings, and crowns. Well, put them together and we are in heaven! This package comes with two 12 x 12 sheets of assorted crowns, wings, fleur de lis and flourishes.

Doesn't our wall look pretty?

And the paper, oh so gorgeous!

So stop drooling and get in here before it's all gone. Rock on!!!
