Just in time for the weekend...

Here's our FedEx guy Chris bringing us more great restocked Autumn Leaves. We're still working on getting him to smile!

If you weren't able to grab up one of the Foof-A-Life books the first time we have them back in stock! The unfortunate thing, is that these won't be autographed by Marilyn Healey.

We also have restocked Rhonna Farrer clear stamps and rub-ons! We were out of them the first weekend we got them in.

Restocked Tim Holtz cling mount stamp sets...YEAH!

And now...what we have all been waiting for since we saw the sneak peak on their website...
Basic Grey's INFUSION! This line is gorgeous, and as always, more beautiful in person than on the web. Come buy it up before it's all gone and you'll have to wait for us to reorder it.

We know you have all been waiting...

7 Gypsy's Round Flower, Observations, and Dots stamps are back in stock!

Look what else just got here...the REFILLABLE STAMP PADS, each pack has Red, Chocolate & Black, how cool is that!?

And more gaffer tape back in.

Sommerset Inspirations came in today as well. I love the little apron article (I am obsessed with aprons). It also has Sommerset's stamp catalog, for those of you who shop online for fun stuff.

Another found item...San Francisco building cards...who knew? These are just screaming to me to make a San Francisco book RIGHT NOW! Love it, miss it!
Do all of you know that I am a Northern California girl, and Kim is a Southern California girl?
We are such opposites it's almost scary! -jw

Lovin' It
This issue goes above and beyond anything I have seen! I haven't even finished looking at it. I had to photograph it and let you see it! It's a must have if I do say so myself...

Sunday's Fun!
Who knew a Sunday in Downtown Mesa could be so much fun... look who stopped by Michelle White, Helle Greer, Mendy Mitrani, and Lilia Meredith. Helle and Michelle were in on Thursday too, but treated us to another visit on Sunday. Can I just say I wish all of you lived closer, o.k. I'll change that...I wish we lived in San Diego! All of these girls were just so much fun. Can't wait for Helle's and Michelle's store to open. Road trip for Jennifer, Lilia, and me.
Lilia and Mendy met online a few years ago and this was their first in person meeting. They are going to have a blast for the three next days.

And this lovely lady is Karla. She was here for Sparkle Bella too. What a genuinely nice person. We'll definitely be keeping in touch! We need to bring her into the blog world. Since she's a So. Cal girl we plan on hooking up at the next CHA. Since she couldn't get a flight out until tomorrow she spent a good part of the day in Mystic Paper. She even was helping with sales! Now that's a team player. No pay, just work!

This was just a great weekend. We so appreciate everybody coming in, loving our store, giving us feedback, and just being the great women that you are!
Saturday's fun...

Today Mike Putman taught his first class at Mystic Paper, but this isn't the first class he's ever taught. First let me say, Mike is awesome!!! He loves what he does and that's obvious in his work and in his teaching. There are lots of pictures in this post because it was so much fun to document the progression of his class. So, let's get started!

Listening to Mike's introduction...

Nice clean tools to start with. They got to play with Bees Wax, Alcohol Inks, Chalk Inks, heat guns, and irons.

Getting started...

Hmmm, what have I gotten myself into?

Lots of fun embellishments...

And ephemera...

Beginning of a layout for the collage...

Now it's gettin' messy...

A few finished collages...

Aren't they beautiful?

Every collage was different. Some brought their own pictures to use like this, and others used what Mike brought.

This class was a huge success! Thanks so much Mike! I think the applause at the end of the class was a clear indicator that Mike's classes are going to be a huge hit here at Mystic Paper. Keep your eye on the calendar for Mike's next class, it's going to fill fast!

Look who stopped by.....

Marilyn Healey and Kim Kwan! Marilyn has pen in hand and is busy signing the new Foof-A-Life book in which she is a contributing artist in. She was in town for the Sparkle Bella event and we were so glad that Kim brought her by.

We also have exciting news about Jennifer Wagner. She is designing for Bazzill and is teaching a class at Creative Escape! And YES, she is still teaching at Mystic Paper. Here are some pictures from Thursday nights class.

Fun, fun, fun, as usual. If you haven't taken a class with Jennifer, it's a treat!

Congratulations Jennifer!

Not the only game in town...

Wait! This isn't our UPS driver...it's none other than FedEx!
Our FedEx driver brings us great stuff too!

I am so excited to have Foof-a-Life books in! Foofala has always been one of my very favorite lines, especially the old designs. This is a must have book for everything sparkly and pretty. Just one look and you'll fall in love. We are also excited to have all the lovely ladies coming to the valley this weekend for SparkleBella over at Scrapbooks Ect. We invite all of you hard working sparkly ladies to come into the store this weekend to visit when you get a chance.

Talk about gorgeous rub-ons! These take the cake- I don't think they will be around for long.
And my beloved Foofala, restocked School Days papers and some Foofabets.
more Happily Ever After papers...perfect for baby books.
more Pish Posh papers...the CROWNS are back, it's the ATC must have paper.

More Going Places papers and beautiful rub-ons.
I'm not sure if you have all noticed, but Mystic Paper is now going through a Bird phase. Not to replace the Paris phase, but we think Birds go with the need to be free this Summer. Kim just told me that Paris AND Birds go together, just think Paris in the Springtime. It sounds like we have many different seasons going on in here! I'm just glad that our air conditioning works and it's quite nice in here (115Âş outside).

The most exciting news is this- We have MORE Memory Gates in! YEAH! If you missed out the last time, we just got them in yesterday, along with their matching little photo stands. So Cute!

VINTAGE SHABBY ALTERED BOOK

The talented Lilia Meredith was at Mystic Paper last Saturday keeping our girls busy with her
Shabby Chic style altered book. This lady is amazing when it comes to teaching technique. And mind you, not just one technique. This class included sewing(machine and hand), beeswax, gesso, paint, stamping, and so much more! I was so jealous that I did not sign up for it. Next time for sure!
Lilia is the queen of all things flea market, shabby, and altered!
And how many teachers resort to the floor when space runs out...
Here's a shot of just some of the fun!

So exciting to have a mother and daughter team attend!

Did I mention that Lilia is the queen of all things Shabby, Altered, and Vintage?!

And yet another beautiful page!

And my favorite page!

Lilia, a huge thanks for spending the day with us, all of your students loved you and the project! I can't wait for the next one, I definitely want to play. -kj
