Here is the long awaited information about the upcoming April 12th Classes with Tim Holtz!
For those of you already on the waiting list, please look these classes over. We will start calling you tomorrow, Friday, March 21st. Please have a first choice, 2nd and 3rd choice picked out. We want everyone to be ready with their picks when we call to help expedite signing everyone up. You don't need to call us, we will be calling you.
There may be some of you that are not on the waiting list, but are dying to be. Those of you who still want to be on the list, you may call. We think there will be some more spots to fill.
“INDUSTRIAL GRUNGE” $65 (3 hour class)
Saturday, April 12th 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Simply put industrial means relating to or resulting from development. In this workshop you’ll develop your own mechanical and technical inspired art pieces using very common yet clever supplies. Learn uses for Metallic Paint Dabbers, Distress Inks, wire, eyelets, and other metal elements. You will create several industrialized assemblage pieces to wear as jewelry or use on your projects. “VINTAGE TRINKETS” $65 (3 hour class)
Saturday, April 12th 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Step into a world of vintage ephemera, findings, buttons, and baubles as you let your creativity take flight in this exclusive workshop designed just for Mystic Paper. Discover techniques on creating you own unique acrylic elements, simple wire working tricks, and clever ways to incorporate fun found objects into this wearable trinket ensemble. Spring is in the Air...

Your one on one time with Mike will be scheduled when you sign up for class (cost included). You will also receive a copy of Artful Blogging magazine to enjoy and read...it's EYE CANDY for the soul.

What do Channel 3 and Terri O have to do with Mystic Paper?
Well, our very own Jennifer Wyatt will be on Channel 3 with Terri O this Thursday morning at 8:45 a.m. Be sure to tune in or TIVO! She will be showing off her wallpapering skills using scrapbook paper. How fun is that!

Under Construction...
For those of you that have been customers of Mystic Paper over the last 3 1/2 years you know that nothing stays the same around here for very long. That would be mostly because of "The Peddler" aka Kim's husband. We have sold the building that is the current home of Mystic Paper. But, don't worry, Mystic Paper is not going anywhere except maybe next door at what used to be the antique store. So the remodeling has begun! Will we live through it? Of course...Do we like it? Not so much. Too much noise! Soooo, to make us feel better about this we are having an Under Construction Sale. Starting today you can take 10% off of your entire sale. Huh, we're feeling better already!
And you bet we will keep you posted on the progress. You never know what we'll do next if this construction takes very long! We may have to have a few more sales. This sale makes us feel so good that it will be good through Good Friday (March 21st).
