Well, well, well...Lookie who was here today! If this picture means nothing to you then read this post. Our contest will end Wednesday, February 13th at 9:00 P.M. That's when we will be back from CHA and you know what happens then! The packages start arriving and maybe the weather will warm up...and the shorts may come out. So post your comment on this blog post and guess what date you think Jeff will show up in our store with shorts on. And, if you haven't been reading the comments you really should. A certain "Mrs. UPS" has commented about who does the laundry around their house!

Even though we'll be gone next week we are expecting a new line to be delivered to the store. You can visit Ellen and check out the newest additions to Mystic Paper. Remember Mystic Paper will close at 5:00 P.M. while we are gone. We wouldn't want to work poor little Ellen to death now would we?

This Weekend...CHA!

As many of you may know, we are headed to Anaheim this weekend for CHA. Ellen will be here at the store while we're gone. She is sad that we are going this time without her, and we are letting her close early on the days we're gone so she will be closing at 5:00 P.M. starting on Saturday the 9th through Wednesday the 13th. So get here and shop early for those 4 days.

We had the pleasure of meeting Jules Eickmeier and her crew when they came to Creative Escape last September. She does a great job of "recreating" her Italian journey. Congratulations Jules! Maybe our paths will cross again at CHA!

We only have to turn a few pages to get to The Nest Wedding Album created by our fav cowgirl Carlene Federer. Nothing like a little four page color layout to add to your "published" resume. What's next Carlene?

Next, on to page 73 where Carol Wingert has a fun layout featuring her daughter Ashley. We are so lucky to have such talented artists here in AZ and that they share their work!

Oh, and guess who's back on page 76, it's Carlene again. This time with a layout about shopping! Why Carlene that's shocking!

And last but not least, our teacher, Judy Bidwell is on page 81. Somerset uses her submission to Sew Somerset in their advertisement for the next issue of the magazine. That's quite a compliment, way to go Judy!

Don't forget, our sale continues through tomorrow. On a little bit of a sad note (for us), Kim's husband AKA "The Peddler" is closing his doors. Most of you know that Mystic Paper and RJ Peddler's have shared our building for almost two years now. So, that means he is having one GIGANTIC SALE. The general public will be able to shop the discounts starting next Friday, February 8th, but you scrappers will be able to shop starting tomorrow! How's that for special treatment?

Surprise class just added!

Just in time to squeeze this in before Valentines Day. Suzette has created another layered quote book that is perfect for giving to your loved one!

Suzette is becoming quite well known for her "quote" books. She just loves quotes and uses them alot. This layered book is no exception and it is so pretty that Suzette's daughter declared it "the best book she has ever made"! That means alot coming from your own child.

Since we are so close to Valentines Day this class will be taught only once on Thursday, February 7th 6:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. The cost is $28. Call us right away, this class is sure to fill up fast!

You all know how we HEART our UPS guy Jeff (mostly because he brings us most of our really cool product). Well- since he is sporting his long UPS uniform lately, we're wondering when he will be bringing out the shorts again!

Wow! Where have we been?

We have been MIA from blogland for a few days now. For starters Jennifer has been gone for a whole week now with a bad back. A really bad back. So bad she can't walk "back". She is getting better but still can't be at the store for very long at all. Mystic Paper has been very busy. It seems Downtown Mesa "is the place to be. Who knew!
